The living quarters are quite a bit more spacious than the (cramped at times) van we toured the deep South in. Mishu will still be occupying the jump seat in the truck as copilot and navigator, and he's just chomping at the bit to hit the road again.
The first stop will be Williams Lake, where we'll be celebrating my Mother's 90th (it was actually in February, but we couldn't get everybody together then). Expected to be in attendance will be Barb and Mal (my siblings) with Kim and Cindy (their spouses) and several of their kids and grandkids (making them great-grandkids for Mum). After the birthday hijinks, Barb and Kim will be jumping in their van and accompanying Mishu and me Eastbound.
At this point I should explain my new passion (and the reason for the blog title)... geocaching. It's a high tech treasure hunt game, whereby you use a GPS or smart phone to find and log hidden containers (caches) all around the world. In the four months I've been doing it, I've logged over 425 finds. My personal goal is to log caches in every Province, and every US State. Barb has also been bitten by the bug, so on this first trip, we're destined for Ontario before turning around. Four more Provinces... woot!
